I am asking the Planning <br />Commission to please ask the Royal Oaks development folks to use this kind of paving rather than asphalt You could talk <br />to Mr. Bruce Kunkel, vice president for campus services (638-6431) about where they found the paving stones and their <br />effectiveness. <br />This could in some ways benefit Royal Oaks as well. It would make the development more attractive, It would ease the <br />run-off ponding issue and cut down on possible mosquito ponds, I suspect it is easier to maintain than asphalt ( no <br />potholes !!) and it certainly is more environmentally friendly. <br />Sincerely, Evelyn V.
