6 <br />Add Woodchips to “Natural” Trails 80 VOL/ICWC labor hours estimated; 40 FTE labor hours required; 2 <br />FTEs required low priority. <br />Carryover form 2025- <br />Potential projects for volunteers and/or ICWC crews: <br />x Crepeau Nature Preserve (last completed 2024, more trail to finish) <br />x RC open space trail north of County Rd E2 (last completed 2023, 20% of the trail to finish on the <br />east end) <br />x Chatham open space trail specific locations (last completed 2020) <br />x Trail extension near Old Hwy 10 & County Rd E2 Open Space (last completed 2023) <br />Trash and Recycle Receptacles 20 FTE labor hours required; 1 FTEs required Medium Priority. <br />Carryover from 2025- <br />Complete an inventory of trash and recycle bins in city parks in 2025. Prepare budget estimates for the <br />recycle bins that are currently failing in the parks by July 1st. <br />On-Going Maintenance for Perennial Gardens, 160 FTE labor hours required; 2 FTEs required Medium <br />Priority. <br />This work which will include weeding, spot replanting and mulching will be completed, as needed, at the <br />22 perennial garden locations shown on the map below. Some of the daylilies will be split from the <br />Highway 96 gardens and replanted to fill gardens around the city as needed. A combination of labor <br />utilized as available. Labor will be completed in the spring, summer and fall seasons.Apply a <br />preemergent during early spring with 2 applications, 2 weeks apart.
