TCAAP Update - the army would like the developer to do more characterization on the <br /> project. The developer would like the army to do more characterization. The <br /> characterization is still being discussed. <br /> . The City Council approved the assessment roll for the 2004 Edgewater project. In <br /> principal, the City Council approved the Grey Fox and Red Fox project for 2005. The <br /> Seams Court neighborhood project is potentially planned for 2006. <br /> 4. PARKS AND RECREATION UPDATES <br /> Tom Moore - Parks and Trails Update <br /> Mr. Moore provided the Committee with an update on the Park activities. He reviewed the <br /> following items: <br /> A. Perrv Park <br /> . The City will sign a contract next week. The City was disappointed with the high bid <br /> number due to the high cost of steel, concrete and gas. However, the bid did come in <br /> under the number that was budgeted for the project. Work will begin next week with <br /> . completion in October. <br /> B. Cummings Park <br /> . The City has taken possession ofthe building. He asked the PRTC to think about having <br /> a grand opening ceremony in that neighborhood. <br /> Chair Henry suggested the City Council schedules a grand opening ceremony for Cummings <br /> Park. <br /> C. Old 10 Railroad Bridge <br /> . The Old Railroad Bridge project is null and void. The bridge structure did not pass <br /> inspection. Discussions were held with Ramsey County regarding this issue. They <br /> indicated they do not want to pursue the project. City staff will continue to work on the <br /> project and explore options to redo the bridge completely. <br /> D. County Road E/Bridge & Trail <br /> . The project will go before the City Council for approval in September. Work would then <br /> begin in October or November. The City has received more positive letters regarding the <br /> project from residents. <br /> . Chair Henry stated the three residents who strongly oppose this project may be very unhappy as <br /> the City should pursue this proj ect. <br />
