Committee Member Thompson suggested the media be contacted regarding this issue. <br /> 6. JULY 27, 2004 - BARBECUE WITH THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> Mr. Moore advised the Planning Commission and the PRTC is having a barbecue on July 27, <br /> 2004. The purpose is for the Commission and the PRTC to socialize and get to know one <br /> another. The Planning Commission needs to be made aware of issues relating to projects in <br /> regards to trails. A discussion will also be held regarding monument signs. The City Council <br /> has requested a plan for monument signs within the City. A representative from the County and <br /> TCAAP are scheduled to attend the joint meeting. Mr. Moore suggested those representatives <br /> should attend another PRTC meeting. <br /> Chair Henry agreed that the County and TCAAP should attend another PRTC meeting. <br /> It was the consensus of the PRTC to schedule the representatives from the County and TCAAP at <br /> the August PRTC meeting. <br /> Mr. Moore advised he would be sending out another e-mail regarding ideas for the barbecue and <br /> sign up for what all members would be bringing. He indicated he would also send out a list of all <br /> Planning Commissioners and their addresses. <br /> . 7. FIELD USE BY ASSOCIATIONS - FEES & USAGE <br /> Mr. Moore suggested Field Use by Associations be discussed at the August meeting. <br /> It was the consensus of the PRTC to discuss the Field Use by Associations at the August PRTC <br /> meeting. <br /> 8. FORMING A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR THE PTRC <br /> Mr. Moore advised forming a non-profit organization for the City and the PRTC was discussed <br /> last night at the Council Work Session. Staff will be gathering more information about the <br /> 501C-3 program. The City Administrator will also be looking at other options such as a <br /> Formalized Donation Program. A report will be given to the City Council when the additional <br /> information is gathered. <br /> 9. TRAIL PRIORITIES <br /> Mr. Moore advised the PRTC has had previous discussions regarding redefining and narrowing <br /> down the top three trail priorities. <br /> . Chair Henry reviewed the top four trail priorities that were discussed at the April PRTC meeting. <br /> Mr. Moore suggested the trail priories be discussed at tbe August meeting. <br />
