Sanitary Sewer Televising/Cleaning <br /> The City Council is asked to authorize staff to issue a Notice to Proceed to <br /> Buchen Environmental Services, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $24,979, as part <br /> of the annual sewer line televising program in the sanitary sewer utility. <br />3. Unfinished and New Business <br /> a. Res. #98-27. Establishinl! Assessment Rates. 1998 Street Improvements <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #98-27, Establishing the 1998 <br /> Street Improvement Assessment Rates. This Resolution includes rates that are <br /> based on the revised feasibility report completed by BRW, and are being proposed <br /> at the direction of the City Council as suggested in the Assessment Policy. <br /> b. Res. #98-28. Ordering Assessment Hearing. 1998 Street Improvements <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #98-28, Ordering an Assessment <br /> Hearing in the Matter of the 1998 Street Improvements. The City Council would <br /> be scheduling the Assessment Hearing for March 30, 1998. <br /> c. Planning Cases <br /> 1. Case #98-04. Tonv Schmidt Park. SUP . <br /> The Planning Commission has recommended approval of the Special Use <br /> Permit in Planning Case #98-04, subject to a variety of conditions. <br /> 2. Case #98-02. Sawhorse. Inc.. Variance <br /> The Planning Commission has recommended denial of a side yard setback <br /> variance for the house addition based on the findings side yard setback <br /> variance section of the staff report dated February 4,1998. They also <br /> recommend approval of a side yard setback variance for the garage <br /> addition, subject to conditions. <br /> d. Res. #98-29. DNR Trail Grant. County Road F <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #98-29. Supporting an Application <br /> to the Department of Natural Resources Cooperative Trail Grant Program. The <br /> City had previously applied for funds from the DNR, but had not received funding <br /> in 1997. The trail is a high priority for the Parks and Recreation Commission and <br /> Tanked high on the DNR list. <br /> e. Res. #98--30. Personnel. Employee Insurance <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #98-30, Authorizing Changes to <br /> the Employee Benefit Plan. This Resolution would make changes to the Short- <br /> Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (L TD), and Life Insurance benefits . <br /> currently provided to employees. <br /> --------- <br />
