Case #98-08, City of Arden Hills The Planning Commission is recommending approval of Case #98-08, front yard setback variance, for the existing garage (20 feet proposed when 10 feet is required), based on the "Findings, Front and Side Yard Setback Variance," and also recommending approval of the vacation of the excess right-of-way for Oak A venue, City of Arden Hills, 1550 Oak Avenue. 4. Case #96-26A. Bethel College The Planning Commission is recommending approval of Case #96-26A, Special Use Permit amendment, Bethel College, 3900 Bethel Drive. S. Case #98-07. Bethel College The Planning Commission is recommending approval of Case #98-07, Bethel College, 3900 Bethel Drive, Site Plan for 33,936 square foot addition to the existing Science, Art and Technology Building, subject to conditions. The Commission also made a separate recommendation on the residence hall. The Commission recommended approval of the Site Plan for a new . 276 unit residence hall, including the height variances (42 feet, 8 inches is proposed, when 35 feet is the maximum allowed), subject to conditions. 6. Case #98-03. City of Arden Hills The Planning Commission is recommending approval of Case #98-03, Amendment to the Arden Hills Zoning OrdinancelPawn Shops, with a minor change. b. City Facilities The City Council may wish to discuss the status of the land transfer for City Hall and related issues. c. Insurance The City Council is asked to consider additional clarification on the provision of insurance benefits for non-union employees. d. Up1:rading Trail Access Areas The City Council is asked to approve the paving of three trail access areas at the cost of$12,791.50 for trails at Edgewater Avenue, Jerrold Avenue and Katie Lane. .
