Case #98-08, City of Arden Hills <br /> The Planning Commission is recommending approval of Case #98-08, <br /> front yard setback variance, for the existing garage (20 feet proposed when <br /> 10 feet is required), based on the "Findings, Front and Side Yard Setback <br /> Variance," and also recommending approval of the vacation of the excess <br /> right-of-way for Oak A venue, City of Arden Hills, 1550 Oak Avenue. <br /> 4. Case #96-26A. Bethel College <br /> The Planning Commission is recommending approval of Case #96-26A, <br /> Special Use Permit amendment, Bethel College, 3900 Bethel Drive. <br /> S. Case #98-07. Bethel College <br /> The Planning Commission is recommending approval of Case #98-07, <br /> Bethel College, 3900 Bethel Drive, Site Plan for 33,936 square foot <br /> addition to the existing Science, Art and Technology Building, subject to <br /> conditions. <br /> The Commission also made a separate recommendation on the residence <br /> hall. The Commission recommended approval of the Site Plan for a new <br /> . 276 unit residence hall, including the height variances (42 feet, 8 inches is <br /> proposed, when 35 feet is the maximum allowed), subject to conditions. <br /> 6. Case #98-03. City of Arden Hills <br /> The Planning Commission is recommending approval of Case #98-03, <br /> Amendment to the Arden Hills Zoning OrdinancelPawn Shops, with a <br /> minor change. <br /> b. City Facilities <br /> The City Council may wish to discuss the status of the land transfer for City Hall <br /> and related issues. <br /> c. Insurance <br /> The City Council is asked to consider additional clarification on the provision of <br /> insurance benefits for non-union employees. <br /> d. Up1:rading Trail Access Areas <br /> The City Council is asked to approve the paving of three trail access areas at the <br /> cost of$12,791.50 for trails at Edgewater Avenue, Jerrold Avenue and Katie <br /> Lane. <br /> . <br />
