Schedule 1 also identifies cost categories that <br /> would be involved in such a temporary move including moving costs, phone services, letterhead <br /> and forms. and demolition of the existing City Hall building at 1450 West Highway 96. <br /> Public Notification <br /> If the City Council wants to pursue either of these leasing options, several public notification <br /> steps need to begin immediately. These include: <br /> . April Utility Billing <br /> . May Newsletter <br /> . Parks and Recreation Brochure <br /> . Press Releases <br /> . Committee Meetings <br /> . Update Stationary and Business Cards <br /> . U.S. Post Office <br /> . Other Notification . <br /> If the Council were to look at May 1, 1998 as the target move date, staff also will need to give a <br /> variety of notices to our vendors, which include: <br /> . U.S. West <br /> . Janitorial <br /> . Recycling <br /> . Utilities <br /> . Insurance <br /> Project Schedule/Maior Discussion Points <br /> In summary, there are a couple of key issues the Council should carefully consider as it selects a <br /> site for city hall facilities. <br /> . Timin~ <br /> It is important for the City Council to keep in mind that, should a decision be <br /> made to lease, there is still a need to recognize some very important deadlines. <br /> Specifically, the lack of a land lease with the National Guard affects several <br /> decisions. <br /> . <br />
