Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute tbe City must act on tbis request by Monday, April 27, 1998 (60 days). unless the City provides the petitioner with written reasons for an additional 60 day review period. Background. The Emerald Inn was approved as part of Planning Case 80-34. The Plauning Commission recommended approval of this case on August 15, 1980. The City Council approved this case on September 29, 1980. The CU!Tent owner of the Emerald Inn (George Reiling) wishes to sell the Emerald Inn to Forstrom and Torgerson Pannership, LLP. The cun'ent owner also wishes to retain the nOliherly undeveloped portion of this property. Thus the lot split requcst.
