MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: May 20, 1998 <br /> TO: Brian Fritsinger <br /> FROM: Dwayne Stafford 9s <br /> SUBJECT: Monthly Department Head Report <br /> Public Safety Commission <br /> The City of Arden Hills Public Safety Commission will be meeting on Thursday, May 21, 1998. <br /> On this month's agenda is the swearing in of our newest member, Julianne Russell. Street light <br /> concerns and miscellaneous issues from residents who responded to the Public Safety Survey <br /> sent out last year, will be discussed. Those residents, responding to the survey with street light <br /> concerns, have been invited to attend the Public Safety Commission meeting this month. <br /> Gateway <br />. The Gateway Street Project continues with all of the sanitary sewer and water main installed. <br /> The contractor is currently finishing up the storm sewer and bringing the roadway up the last 3 <br /> feet to sub grade with sand. <br /> Phase IV ofWe]sh's building project is now completely enclosed with roofing and interior work <br /> under way. <br /> On Phase III, the stmctural steel work is near completion and on Phase II, the steel is up and wall <br /> panels are being installed. Utility work on all 3 phases is well under way. <br /> 1997 Street Project <br /> Valley Paving has completed their punch list for the 1997 Street Improvements and has asked for <br /> their final payment of approximately $5,000. <br /> 1998 Street Project <br /> New gas lines are nearly completed on Stowe and Edgewater Avenues. Gas installation should <br /> be starting soon on Fairview. The Utility Contractor for the sewer and water work portion of this <br /> year's project has completed some of the miscellaneous work and will be starting the storm <br /> sewer work on Edgewater A venue this week. <br />. None of the city work on Stowe Avenue will start until the permit from Rice Creek Watershed is <br /> issued, which is expected next week. <br />
