Feasibilitv Re\)ort Review <br /> The City Council is asked to authorize the City Engineer to perform a review of <br /> the Round Lake Road Feasibility Report, including a verification of design, cost <br /> estimates, and options. The current Feasibility Report was completed by the <br /> City's previous engineer, Howard R, Green, and staff believes that a review by the <br /> current engineer to be appropriate. <br /> e. Rcs. #98-55. Reapportionment of Special Assessments. Sheplev Property <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #98-55, Reapportionment of <br /> Special Assessments; Shepley property, <br /> 6. Department Report <br /> The City Council will find the department report enclosed for each of the various City <br /> Departments, Activities related to the Administration and Finance Departments include: <br /> a. General Administration <br /> Notices were sent to the press related to the change of hours at City Hall. Staff <br /> solicited proposals and mct with several companies for consideration of a new <br /> copy machine for City Hall. Mr. Post is currently analyzing lease/purchase . <br /> options. <br /> 1. Elections <br /> Staff prepared training materials, contacted all election judges, and <br /> arranged and held two training sessions with the election judges. Other <br /> preparations for the Primary clection have included coordination with <br /> Ramsey County, the Secretary of State, ordering of supplies, and meeting <br /> with Bethel staff regarding pre-registration of students. Staff has also <br /> advertised for the filing of candidates and preparation of all ballots and <br /> testing of equipment. <br /> 2. City Hall UDdate <br /> a. Old City Hall <br /> Staff prepared a rcquest to solicit bids for the demolition of the <br /> 1450 West Highway 96 building. The intent is to combine this <br /> demolition with any of the other demolitions that will be necessary <br /> as part of code enforcement activities, Additional convcrsations <br /> \vere held with the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department <br /> regarding their use of the facility for training prior to demolition. <br /> All utilities to the building have been disconnected. <br /> . <br />
