Northern States Power, TCAAP Overhead lJpdate <br /> Mr. John Wertish, NSP Community Services Manager, will be in attendance to <br /> ans\ver questions regarding the construction of overhead lines on TCMP. The <br /> City Council, at its August 31,1998 meeting, had requested that a representative <br /> ofNSP discuss this issue with the Council. <br /> b. 1 J69 Forest I .ane, Code Enforcement lJpdate <br /> Mr. Nixon, property owner at 1369 Forest Lane, may be in attendance to discuss <br /> the status of his efforts at securing financing or building plans for his home. The <br /> City Council, at the September 21, 1998 Council W orksession, requested his <br /> presence at tonight's meeting, <br /> c. New City Hall, Andio and Visnal Desi~n Consultation Services Selection <br /> The City Council will be asked to select a consultant for the audio and visual <br /> design for the new City Hall. Staff interviewed firms on Friday, and is working <br /> on the various details associated with the proposals. A recommendation and staff <br /> report will be presented at the meeting on Monday. <br /> d. Vau!,:han Park Dedication Property Rxchan!,:e . <br /> The City Council is asked to direct staff and the City Attorney to negotiate an <br /> agreement for the exchange of the previously agreed upon park property for fee <br /> title to a 30 foot wide, 1111 foot trail corridor located on the Vaughan property, as <br /> identified in the exhibits attached to the staff memorandum. <br /> 4. lliIL'lrtment Report <br /> The City Council will find the department report enclosed for each of the various City <br /> Departments. Activities related to the Administration and Finance Departments include: <br /> a. General Administration <br /> Staff has begun working on the renewal of our various liability insurance <br /> coverages with T.C. Field & Company. This process will last several months, <br /> 1. Rlections <br /> This last month was full of election activities. These included holding the <br /> public accuracy test and Primary Election. We made some registration <br /> changes at Precinct 3, which handles Bethel College, and it went smoothly <br /> compared to previous years. City Hall was open extended hours on a <br /> Saturday, and one evening, prior to the Primary for absentee voting. <br /> . <br />
