Newsletter Committee <br /> The November, 1998 newsletter was processed and mailed to our <br /> residents. The Committee is currently working on a combined <br /> December/January issue, to be delivered in mid-January, 1999. The City <br /> also received interest from several individuals in serving on this <br /> committee, and has recommended appointment of three individuals. <br /> Community Development <br /> . Property Acquisitions <br /> Staff has held numerous meetings with the City Attomey, Ramsey County, <br /> Acquisition Specialist, and the Indykiewicz family regarding the acquisition of <br /> this property. <br /> . Community Representations <br /> As City Administrator, I've attended a variety of meetings representing the City <br /> this past month, including the TCAAP Reuse Advisory Board, League of <br /> Minnesota Cities, TUG, I-35W Corridor Coalition, North Suburban Cable <br /> e Commission, and the Metropolitan Area Managers Association. <br /> Finance Department <br /> . Truth In Taxation Information <br /> Ramsey County mailed parcel-specific notices this week conceming market value <br /> and proposed taxes payable for 1999. Ramsey County also prepares summary <br /> information that will be distributed to Council as it is received by the City. <br /> The notice of Public Hearing will be published in the Bulletin and Focus <br /> newspapers on December 2,1998 and December 3,1998, respectively. <br /> Although the Truth in Taxation public hearing presentation materials will be built <br /> around the Preliminary Budget adopted on September 14, 1998, staff has been <br /> evaluating changes to the Preliminary Budget as subsequent infomlation becomes <br /> known. (e.g., copier lease agreement, Community Development Director position <br /> vacancy, etc. <br /> ...,. <br /> . Capital Improvement Plan <br /> Staff has been working on the final revisions to the five-year Capital Improvement <br /> Plan. The updated document will be available for review by the City Council in <br /> December. <br /> e <br />
