Pot 0' <br />Gold Bingo <br />The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #99-06, "Approving Bingo Hall <br />License Renewal Application, Pot 0' Gold Bingo." <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Department Report <br />The City Council will find the department report enclosed for each of the various City <br />Departments. Activities related to the Administration and Finance Departments include: <br /> <br />General Administration <br />Miscellaneous items worked on during December included: <br />. Reviewed and updated the 1999 Fee Schedule <br />. Prepared 1999 meeting calendar for Council approval <br />. Councilmember Keirn recognition <br />. Animal Control Contract renewal <br />. Prepared annual appointments (Official Newspaper, Corporate and organizational <br />appointments) <br />. Employee recognition <br /> <br />. Y2K Compliance <br />I have begun reviewing information provided by the League of Minnesota Cities <br />(LMC) that provides additional insight as to what issues of concern City's should <br />have with Y2K. I would expect to provide the City Council with an update on our <br />efforts at the January or February Worksession. <br /> <br />. License Renewals <br />Staff has prepared and sent 1999 license renewals to all liquor, business, rubbish <br />Haulers who were licensed in Arden Hills in 1998. City staifis in the process of <br />streamlining this process between several departments. We hope that for the year <br />2000 renewals, our existing computer system and database can be better utilized <br />to coordinate the effort. <br /> <br />. Insurance <br />The City completed the annual review of its Liability and Workers Compensation <br />insurance. In addition, the City received a dividend for Property/Casualty <br />insurance from the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMCIT) based on <br />the City's 1998 experience rating. <br />
