<br />. <br /> <br />Memorandum, 1999 Committee Structure <br />Page Six <br />March 24, 1999 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Water auality Task Force - This task force has been identified both in the <br />Comprehensive Plan and in other conversations by the City Council. The task <br />force would address the long term improvements necessary to improve water <br />quality within the city of Arden Hills and potentially within neighboring <br />communities. <br />Trails and Waterwavs Ta'lk Force - TIris task force could be used to assist the <br />Parks Committee in determining the long term needs of the city trail program. <br />Environmental auality Task Force - TIris task force could be used to analyze <br />existing city ordinances to determine whether or not any additional changes would <br />be appropriate for strengthening our approach to the environment within the <br />community. <br />Business Relations Task Force - Develop, investigate and recommend an <br />approach for business relations, Chamber involvement, neighborhood business <br />decisions. <br />Human Rights Task Force - Discuss and recommend long range programs to <br />ensure that human service needs are met This could also be done cooperatively <br />with neighboring communities or other agencies. <br />Cable TV TAsk Force - This task force could study the existing communication <br />efforts of the city through the use of cable tv and make recommendations for other <br />approaches. <br />Web Site Task Force - This task force could work with the city on developing our <br />city web page and discuss what type of information would be appropriate for the <br />web and how it would be managed long term. <br />Logo Task Force - TIris task force would begin the process of reviewing the <br />current city logo and make a recommendation as to whether or not a change is <br />appropriate. <br />Resident Guide/Welcome Packet Review - The city provides new residents with <br />information about the community. TIris task force could review this packet and <br />make recommendations for changes or other types of information most useful to <br />new residents. <br />50 Year anniversaJ:Y proliram - The City will celebrate its 50th anniversary in <br />2001.
