Thomas Moore <br />The City Council is asked to approve the appointment of Mr. Moore as a <br />probationary employee with the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />d. ADDroval ofUnbude:eted Oneratim! Transfers for 1998 <br />The City Council is asked to approve several operating transfers as part of the <br />1998 budget. These transfers were not part of the adopted 1998 budget. The City <br />historically books several transfers at the conclusion of the calendar year based on <br />the unexpected revenues or expenditures from the preceding year. <br /> <br />4. Unfmished and New Business <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Planninl!: Case #98-33. Josenhine East LLC. 3171 and 3183 Leximrton <br />Avenue. Preliminary Plat and Variances <br />The City Council is asked to consider approval of an amendment to the City's <br />Official Map creating a cul-de-sac roadway system on Shoreline Lane <br />approximately 600 feet North of County Road D and a dead end approximately <br />270 feet South of Edgewater Road. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The Planning Commission recommends approval of Option A as presented in the <br />staff report, conditioned on it being acceptable to the City Engineer. This is not <br />the option proposed by the applicant or recommended by City Staff. <br /> <br />b. Finance Committee Presentation <br />Anne Sorenson or other members of the Finance Committee may attend the <br />meeting to present findings of the Finance Committee in regards to financing ofa <br />new maintenance building. <br /> <br />c. Res. #99-12. SunDortinl!: Reneal of State Sales Tax for Local Government <br />Purchases <br />The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #99-12, "Supporting Repeal of <br />State Sales Tax for Local Government Purchases." This resolution will be <br />forwarded to Senator Runbeck and Representative Krinkie in an effort to show <br />support for the various bills being considered which repeal this tax. <br /> <br />e <br />
