<br />City of Arden Hills <br /> <br />Chapter 8 Traffic and Motor Vehicles <br /> <br />Subd. 2 Use of Headlight and Taillight. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a <br /> <br />recreational motor vehicle during the hours between one-half hour before sunset and <br /> <br />one-half hour after sunrise without the required headlight and taillight being illuminated. <br /> <br />Subd. 3 Muffler. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any recreational motor <br /> <br />vehicle unless the recreational vehicle is equipped with a standard engine muffler and <br /> <br />exhaust system in good operating condition, as installed by the manufacturer, except that <br /> <br />a muffler may not be required when the manufacturer has designed and installed an exhaust <br /> <br />system which operates as safely and efficiently without a muffler. <br /> <br />Subd 4 Noise Making Devices. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any <br /> <br />recreational motor vehicle which has attached to it any type of noise making devices <br /> <br />intended to amplify noise emitted from such machine, including, but not limited to, devices <br /> <br />commonly known as megaphones, expansion chambers, operational cutouts or other similar <br /> <br />devices. <br /> <br />Subd. 5 Mandatory Pennant for Recreational Motor Vehicle. No person shall operate <br /> <br />a recreational motor vehicle unless the vehicle is equipped with a red or orange blaze <br /> <br />pennant flag of at least forty (40) square inches in area and displayed at a height of not less <br /> <br />than five (5) feet above the tread way . <br /> <br />810.04 Operation of All-Terrain Vehicle.
