Owners of private property on which fire hydrants are located shall pay an <br /> <br />annual standby charge, the amount of which shall be as established in a resolution <br /> <br />adopted by the CounciL This charge shall be a specified amount per hydrant. In <br /> <br />addition, if the City installs a hydrant on private property at the request of the <br /> <br />owner, the owner shall be charged the actual cost to the City of materials and labor <br /> <br />for the installation, <br /> <br />B. This charge shall not apply to a hydrant installed in the usual manner on <br /> <br />boulevards or street right-of-ways, but only to those installed on private property. <br /> <br />1000.23 Permits ReqUired for Private Use of Water Towers. No person shall install any radio <br /> <br />aerial on, or in any way use, any municipal water tower for private use without fIfst obtaining a <br /> <br />permit from the Council to do so. <br /> <br />Subd. 1 Terms of Permit. Any person desiring to obtain a permit to install a private radio <br /> <br />aerial on a water tower shall file an application with the City Administrator and have the <br /> <br /> <br />application approved by the City engineer and chief of police. If the permit is issued by the <br /> <br /> <br />Council it shall only be valid so long as the applicant pays to the City the fee as has been <br /> <br /> <br />established therefor in a resolution adopted by the Council, and the permit must be renewed <br /> <br /> <br />annually. The original payment must be made at the time of application for the permit. <br /> <br />10 - 29 <br />
