<br />Related Experience <br />Continued <br /> <br />Calhoun Commons <br /> <br />Calhoun Conunons is a neighborhood-scale shopping center anchored <br />by a grocery store in an urban setting on Excelsior Boulevard near Lake <br />Calhoun in Minneapolis. Major challenges included integrating the new <br />development with existing development patterns and overcoming severe <br />site conditions such as unstable soils and contamination from previous <br />uses. <br /> <br />BR W helped the developer swap land with an adjoining property owner <br />to optimize the site configuration, and to treat runoff without an open <br />pond system.
