Duties included negotiating with developers and affected <br />property owners prior to City Council approvals. Served as primary staff liaison to <br />the Planning Commission and occasionally, the City Council. Participated in the <br />formulation of staff positions on development projects and city plans. <br /> <br />1979 - 1981: Associate and Project Planner - Minnetonka, Minnesota <br /> <br />Responsible for communicating departments' policies to developers and <br />landowners. Authored numerous staff reports to the Planning Commission <br />regarding minor to mid-size development projects. Attended occasional Planning <br />Commission meetings and served as staff to the Comprehensive Guide Plan Task <br />Force. <br /> <br />1977 - 1979: Planner - Isberg, Riesenberg, Chelseth and Associates, formerly with SMSQ <br /> <br />Responsible for research, plan analysis, and policy development for municipal, <br />township, and county clients.
