Retainer Services - City of Mayer <br />RSC recently contracted with the City of Mayer, Carver County to update the Comprehensive <br />Plan and land use controls. RSC is also providing retainer services to review and provide <br />written recommendations on all land use and development applications for the City. Specific <br />tasks include: <br /> <br />. Review and complete update of the Comprehensive Plan; <br />. Public participation process to re-evaluate community goals; <br />. Analysis and revision of Subdivision and Zoning ordinance; <br />. Development of a capital improvement plan; <br />. Analysis and recommendations for utility connection/user fees; <br />. Ongoing staff support for all land use and development proposals. <br /> <br />The Comprehensive Plan was completed and approved in the Spring of 1999. <br /> <br />Contact: Lois Maetzold, City Clerk, City of Mayer, (612) 657-2161 <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan and Zonin!!: Ordinance Revisions and Update - City of ColoJne <br />RSC has contracted with the City of Cologne, Carver County to update its Comprehensive Plan <br />and Zoning Ordinance. RSC will be working with city and county staff, Planning Commission <br />and community citizen groups. Specific tasks include: <br /> <br />. A review of the existing Comprehensive Plan: <br />. Identify community goals through public workshop and detennine policies In <br />achieving the goals; <br />. Develop a draft Comprehensive Plan for approval by the Planning Commission; <br />. Revise the draft plan, based upon final City Council and public comments; <br />. Review the existing Zoning Ordinance and identify areas that are not compatible with <br />the newly adopted Comprehensive Plan; <br />. Prepare revisions to the Zoning Ordinance; <br />. Develop a Subdivision Ordinance for the City. <br /> <br />The above tasks were completed in the Spring, 1997. RSC has also contracted with the City to <br />develop an Economic Development Plan, Central Business District Master Plan, and amendment <br />to the Comprehensive Plan.
