Activities include: <br /> <br />. Analyze existing documents; <br />. Establish Issues IdentificationlPublic Participation Process; <br />. Meet MNRRA Tier I requirements; <br />. Analyze Tier II requirements for compliance; <br />. Studv - City of St. Paul <br />RSC has contracted with the City of St. Paul's Department of Planning and Economic <br />Development to complete a planning and zoning study relating to the development of heavy <br />industry in the Mississippi River Corridor. Activities include: <br /> <br />. Conduct surveys of similar sized cities; <br />. Evaluate the City's official controls; <br />. Evaluate the official controls of surrounding cities; <br />. Evaluate potential environmental impacts; <br />. Develop an interim report; <br />. Minnesota <br />RSC contracted with the City of Maple Grove to complete two Alternative Urban Areawide <br />Reviews (AUARs). An AUAR evaluates development scenarios and assesses potential <br />environmental impacts based upon a range of development intensities. The first study area <br />comprised 1056 acres, the vast majority of which is designated residential. This AUAR was <br />completed in May, 1996. The second study area involved 1261 acres of land designated for <br />commercial/industrial expansion and mixed residential development.
