" e CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA CITY COUNCIL MEETING OCTOBER 30, 2000 7:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS ~~J:;";; t CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL Pursuant to due call and notice thereot: Mayor Dennis Probst called to order the regular City Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. Present: Mayor Dennis Probst, Councilmembcrs Beverly Aplikowski, David Grant, Gregg Larson, and Lois Rem. Abscnt: None. Also present wcrc City Administrator, Joe Lynch; City Attorney Jerry Filla; City Planner, Jennifer Chaput; and Recording Secretary, Mary Mullen. ADOPT AGENDA Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Rem seconded a motion to adopt the agenda for the October 30, 2000, regular City Council meeting, as submitted. Thc motion carried wlanimously (5-0). e APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION: A. October 10, 2000 Regular Council Mccting Councilmember Grant requested the following changcs: On page 3, third paragraph from bottom, replace "residents' tcstimony" with "public comments". On Page 6, third paragraph, first line, replace "as" with "about". On page 8, fifth paragraph, insert "significant" before -'pleasure". Council member Larson requested thc following changes: On page 5, the second half of the page should be amended to reflect that only one feasibility study was ever produccd by the City and accepted for public comment. He added that the document refcrred to by Councilmember Rcm was a preliminary draft of the fcasibility study. Councilmember Rem stated that two feasibility studies wcre released, and the first study was not designated as a draft. Councilmember Larson requested that City staff correct thc minutes as appropriate. e Councilmember Larson req uested the following changes: On page 10, second paragraph from bottom, last line, replace "to" with "with". On page 12, third paragraph from bottom, sccond line from bottom, replace "is" with "are". On page 12, last paragraph, insert "asked" after "Rem".
