On page 11, in the paragraph immediately e <br />above Itcm C, first line, replace "City" with "Council". <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem requested the following change: On page 6, fourth paragraph, fourth line, <br />insert "who was not a member of the Council at that time" before "to move ahead". <br /> <br />B. October 16, 2000 Council Worksession <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Council member Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Grant secondcd a motion <br />to approve the meeting minutes as amended. Thc motion calTied unanimously (5- <br />0). <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />A. <br />B. <br />C. <br /> <br />D. <br />F. <br />F. <br />G. <br /> <br />Claims and Payroll <br />Ordinance #320, Summary Antenna Ordinance <br />Res. #00-37, Resolution Authorizing a Tax Rate Increasc for the 2000 Tax Levy, <br />Collcctible in 2001 <br />:vlounds Vicw Public Schools, Water Easement Request <br />Res. #00-38, Resolution Appointing Data Practices Compliance Official <br />2001 AMM and LMC Legislative Policics and Priorities <br />Regular Employee Status, Planner Jennifer Chaput <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem stated, with regard to Item F, 2001 Association of Metropolitan <br />Municipalities, that the inclusion of sales Metropolitan Council authority as a priority item was <br />not in the Council's worksession minutes. Mayor Probst suggested that Item F be removed from <br />the Consent Calendar and addressed as a separate item on the agenda. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmemher Aplikowski seconded a molion <br />10 approve the Consent Calendar and authorize execution of all necessary <br />documents contained therein, with the exception ofItem F, and the placement of <br />Item F on the main agenda. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Probst invited those present to come forward and address the Council on any items not <br />already on the agenda. <br /> <br />Elizabeth Garski, 1795 Lake Valentine Road, stated she appeared before the Council in April <br />2000 with regard to lights in the Monnds View High School parking lot. She added that a <br />Special Use Permit was approved for the school, at which time the Council had suggested that <br />the lights be consistently turned off at 10:00 p.m. She noted that nothing has changed, and often <br />the lights stay on until 1 :30 a.m. She suggested that maintenance staff at the school might need .. <br />instructions with regard to the operation of the lighting timer mechanism. ,. <br />
