Ms. Chaput stated that if the amcndment is e madc prior to the ordinance changes, it would be allowed. She added that new requests would he subject to the CWTent ordinancc. Councilmember Larson stated he is unsure whether the limitation on accessory buildings would apply to a PUD as it is not part of thc master plan. Ms. Chaput agreed, stating that the PUD process allows somc flexibility and the limitation may not apply. An unidentified representative of North Heights Church, asked whether a building permit could be picked up the next morning. Mr. Lynch statcd an electrical permit must be processed by another inspector and may take a few days. B. Pay Request #8, }'orest Lake Contracting, West Round Lake Road (Phasc 1) Nick Landwehr, BRW, Inc., stated he is presenting Pay Request #8, Forest Lake Contracting, Wcst ROWld Lake Road, in thc absence of City Engineer Greg Brown. He added that the City awarded Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. the West Round Lakc Road Improvements Phase I on March 8, 1999 for a total contract amount of $794,725.05. Mr. Landwchr stated the Council approved Change Order #1 on April 12, 1999 reducing the contract amount to 726,725.05, and Change Order #2 on August 9, 1999 increasing the contract amount to $806,080.05. He added that Change Order #3 was approved by the Council on July 31,2000 increasing the contract amount by $8,198.58 to $8l4,278.63. . Mr. Landwehr stated the contractor has finished the project. He added that Pay Estimate #8 reflects payment in full for all contract items except landscaping material. He noted that final payment will be made ncxt spring after all landscaping material has been inspectcd and approved by the Project Engineer. Mr. Landwehr stated that the City Engineer recommends approval of Pay Estimate #8 for Forest Lakc Contracting, Inc., afForest Lake, Mimlesota, in the amount of$48,965.42. A retainage of 0.52% is being held which reflects a 10% retainage on landscaping items to be inspected next spring. Mayor Probst stated that some repairs had been completed recently, and asked whether staffwcre satislled with the result. Mr. Lynch stated the repairs are not completely satisfactory but will be rcdone when the remaining portion of the road is widened and the grade is changed. MOTION: Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Grant seconded a motion to approve Pay Estimate #8 for Forest Lake Contracting, Inc., of Forest Lake, Minnesota, in the amount of$48,965.42, with a retainage of 0.52%. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). .
