<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2001 <br />7:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> <br />l>~ <br />~/:}r <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chair Steve Baker called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE <br /> <br />Ms. Chaput asked that Commissioner Erickson take the oath of office. Conunissioner <br />Erickson read the Oath of Office for his term. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Present were Chair Steve Baker, Conunissioners Dave Sand, Warren Pakulski, Stephen <br />Erickson, Clayton Zimmerman, and Therese Galatowitsch. <br /> <br />Commissioner Terri Duchenes was absent. <br /> <br />Also present were Councilmember Beverly Aplikowski, Planner Jennifer Chaput, and <br />Recording Secretary Heidi Guenther. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON <br />JANUARY 3, 2001 <br /> <br />Conunissioner Zinunerman moved, seconded by Commissioner Sand, to approve the <br />January 3,2001 minutes as amended on Page 1, Call to Order to read Chair "Baker" and <br />to correct the spelling of Dan "Ashbach" on Page 7, along with the spelling of John <br />"Shardalo" on Page 10. The motion carried unanimously (6-0). <br /> <br />PLANNING CASE #01-01 - CORPORATE EXPRESS - SITE PLAN REVIEW -1233 <br />WEST COUNTY ROAD E - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Chair Erickson opened the public hearing at 7:35 p,m. <br /> <br />Ms. Chaput explained that the applicant, Corporate Express, is requesting site plan review of the <br />existing facility at 1233 West County Road E for five additional dock doors on the west side of <br />the building, a dock addition on the north side of the building and a revised parking plan to <br />accommodate interior and exterior remodeling. <br /> <br />Ms. Chaput stated that Corporate Express approached the City in late 2000 to discuss interior and <br />exterior remodeling to their facility, She explained they were informed that any exterior <br />remodeling required a site plan review and any interior remodeling, potentially changing the use <br />of interior spaces, requires a parking review as part of the same application. Ms. Chaput noted <br />the property is in the B,2, General Business District. <br />
