As part of the project, the City condemned certain permanent and temporary easements <br />to allow storm water to flow into real property owned by George and Mary Reiling. In 1992, the <br />City paid Mr. Reiling the sum of$16,680.00, which was the City's appraised value for the <br />permanent and temporary easements. <br /> <br />The Reiling's did not accept the City's 1992 payment as full consideration for the taking. As a <br />result, this matter has been in some form of litigation for the last nine (9) years. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Prior to this matter advancing through Ramsey County Second Judicial District Court (court file <br />No. C6-91-12953), the parties have arrived at a proposed stipulation settlement agreement. City <br />Attorney Filla, will present the details of the proposed settlement to the City Council. <br /> <br />Action <br /> <br />If the Arden Hills City Council agrees with the provisions of the stipulation settlement <br />agreement, they should so move and direct staffto satisfy all requirements related thereto. <br />
