Any sign placed within the right of way of a roadway with the pern1ission and approval . <br />of the roadway authority <br /> <br />SECTION V. PROHIBITED SIGNS <br /> <br />Prohibited Sil!ns. The following signs shall be prohibited in all zoning districts. <br />A. Signs with moving or swinging parts. <br />8. Flashing signs, except when used to provide primmily time and temperature or other <br />public service information and not to exceed 25% of the area of the sign face. <br />C. Roof signs, a sign mounted on the roof of a building or on a parapet wall <br />D. Projecting signs, a sign, other than a wall sign, that is attached to and projects from the <br />building facade <br />E. Off premise, billboard or advertising signs, or any sign that directs attention to a <br />business, service, product or event not related to or on the premises where the sign is <br />located. <br />F. Product signs <br />G. Any sign not constructed, wired, assembled, attached or supported in confOlmance with <br />applicable building or other codes and regulations. <br />H. Any sign not specifically permitted in this section. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />SECTION VI. REGULATION BY SIGN DISTRICT <br /> <br />Rel!ulation bv Sil!n District. For the purpose of regulation of signs, the following nine sign <br />districts are adopted. <br /> <br />1. All residential properties zoned R-l or R-2 <br />2. All non residential uses in any residential, R-1 through R-4, zoning district <br />3. All residential properties zoned R-3 and R-4 <br />4 All propel1ies fronting on Cty Rd E east of Hwy 51 <br />5. All propelties fronting on Lexington A venue South of I 694 <br />6. All properties zoned for commercia] or industrial use fronting on Lexington A venue <br />north of I 694, Hwy 96, or located in a B-1 zoning district. <br />7. All propelties in the I Rex, Gateway Business, or other commercial or industrial distJ1ct <br />without frontage on an roadway designated above <br />8.
