Moore; Parks and Recreation Director, Acting Public \. -J.. \'I'\., <br />Works Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: 2001 Third Quarter Report - Public Works <br /> <br />. Staff responded to 28 after hours "Call Outs" <br />. Staff, Parks and Public Works, attended a defensive Driving Class <br />. Staff attended the Minnesota Fall Maintenance Expo in St. Cloud <br />. South Water Tower was repainted with a new City Logo. Staffreconfigured the water <br />system, so that water pressure was maintained to the residents. <br />. All City fire hydrants have been flushed. <br />. Planning for 2002 sewer line televising and line repair has taken place with assistance <br />from BRW/URS. <br />. 2002 Storm Water maintenance projects have been identified with assistance from <br />BRW/URS. . <br />. Street/storm water catch basin repaired at 1620 Oak Avenue. <br />. Sod work completed at the water main break at 1280 & 1281 Karth Lake Circle. <br />. Sod work and fence work at 204 Stowe Avenue. <br />. Water line laid in to Mounds View High School off of Gramsie Road. All restoration <br />work completed. <br />. Staff trained on a new computer system to read water meters. <br />. Staffis training the Parks employees on operation of the City's 14 Lift Stations. <br />. Staff is assisting with the new City Hall project; moving dirt! rocks, storm water <br />grates and pipe work. <br />. Completed street! pot hole repairs <br />. Completed a second street sweeping of the three neighborhoods that were sealcoated. <br />. Repaired 12 manhole covers on City streets. <br />. Six new storm water catch basins have been installed throughout the City. <br />. Completed the installation of new RTs for water meter service readings in the <br />remainder of households in the City. <br />. Curb repair at 26 different locations. Damage from winter snow plowing. <br />. Ordered street address signs for all 14 Lift Stations & the Booster Station. <br /> <br />. <br />
