<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />Mil. Y 28, 2002 <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />Mr. Brown stated they had completed the plans and specifications and they were <br />now at the point of an assessment hearing. He stated they could start advertising <br />for bids the week after next if approved by Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant asked if they had any indication as to the bid process. Mr. <br />Brown stated the bid process was fairly routine, and he did not see any conflicts <br />with this project being done later in the season. <br /> <br />Council Member Rem asked why they were addressing this now at this time. She <br />asked if this was catch up work. Mr. Lynch replied that was correct. He indicated <br />it was something that should have been done previously. <br /> <br />Council Member Aplikowski stated this type of an action concerned her, but she <br />would support it. <br /> <br />Council Member Rem stated she would feel more comfortable sIgmng a <br />Resolution indicating when the project would be done. <br /> <br />Larson suggested putting in the word formally before report in the Resolution and <br />staffs report. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Larson moved and Council Member Aplikowski <br />seconded a motion to approve Resolution Nos, 02-21, Ordering <br />Report on Improvement of Hunters Court and Waldon Place. The <br />motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Larson moved and Council Member Aplikowski <br />seconded a motion to approve Resolution No. 02-22, Receiving <br />Report and Calling Hearing on Improvement of Hunters Court and <br />Waldon Place adding in the word "formallv received by the <br />Council..." and amending staffs report by adding in the words <br />"formallv receiving Report. ,,". The motion carried unanimously (5- <br />0). <br /> <br />Council Member Larson stated he had previously voted against this Resolution <br />leaving the street width as it was, but he was supporting this despite the alternative <br />to have some uniformity among the Council. <br />
