. . . ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Mil. Y 28, 2002 11 Mr. Brown stated they had completed the plans and specifications and they were now at the point of an assessment hearing. He stated they could start advertising for bids the week after next if approved by Council. Council Member Grant asked if they had any indication as to the bid process. Mr. Brown stated the bid process was fairly routine, and he did not see any conflicts with this project being done later in the season. Council Member Rem asked why they were addressing this now at this time. She asked if this was catch up work. Mr. Lynch replied that was correct. He indicated it was something that should have been done previously. Council Member Aplikowski stated this type of an action concerned her, but she would support it. Council Member Rem stated she would feel more comfortable sIgmng a Resolution indicating when the project would be done. Larson suggested putting in the word formally before report in the Resolution and staffs report. MOTION: Council Member Larson moved and Council Member Aplikowski seconded a motion to approve Resolution Nos, 02-21, Ordering Report on Improvement of Hunters Court and Waldon Place. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). MOTION: Council Member Larson moved and Council Member Aplikowski seconded a motion to approve Resolution No. 02-22, Receiving Report and Calling Hearing on Improvement of Hunters Court and Waldon Place adding in the word "formallv received by the Council..." and amending staffs report by adding in the words "formallv receiving Report. ,,". The motion carried unanimously (5- 0). Council Member Larson stated he had previously voted against this Resolution leaving the street width as it was, but he was supporting this despite the alternative to have some uniformity among the Council.
