<br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 9, 2002 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst also agreed that there were too many signs on the building and did <br />not want this amount of signage to be set as precedence. He suggested some <br />elevation of the landscaping, including tree caliper. He stated if it were possible to <br />eliminate some of the signage and elevating the landscaping, his concerns would <br />be addressed. Mr. Tucci indicated he believed they could work the landscaping <br />issue and signage out with staff. <br /> <br />Council Member Rem noted that the most important issue for her was the traffic <br />impact. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant asked why they removed the drive-through pharmacy. Mr. <br />Mephas replied that after looking at this again, they decided having additional <br />parking was more important than the drive-through pharmacy. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Larson moved and Council Member Grant seconded <br />a motion to approve Planning Case #02-18, Cub Foods/Oppidan, . <br />Master and Final Plan PUD, Lexington and Grey Fox with the <br />following conditions beyond the staffs conditions noted in their <br />September 6, 2002 report: <br /> <br />1. The signs on the north and south side of the building are <br />removed, as well as removal of the Low Priced Leader sign. <br /> <br />2. The changes in the architecturally detail be incorporated and if <br />there were any further changes, it is to come back to staff. <br /> <br />3. Landscaping be added on the north and south sides of the <br />building to break-up and further soften the long walls that exist <br />on each side. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />s.
