PUBLIC HEARINGS

A.

Karth Lake/Ingerson 2003 PMP based on the Feasibility Report
received November 12,2002

Mayor Probst opened the public hearing at 7:07 p.m.

The City Engineers presented the proposed Karth Lake/Ingerson 2003 Pavement
Management Program.

Tom Lvnch, 3220 Hamline Avenue North, stated at the last meeting they had a
unanimous showing from the residents that they wanted a surmountable curb,
which the City Engineers did not recommend. He stated a surmountable curb was
cheaper, as it was unnecessary to have a curb cut. He stated they had also
requested a surmountable curb be connected into a flat curb for water drainage.

Dorothv Vawter, 1226 Ingerson Road, stated a lot of the proposed changes were
designed to improve water quality, She asked for clarification of the relocation of
a portion of the Femwood Channel, which is on private property, onto association
property, which was also private property. Mr. Brown replied they did not intend
to do anything to the association property. The intent was to move the channel as
close to Fernwood, to the east of the association property, as possible. He noted
the association was not losing land, but was gaining contiguous land.
