<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />DECEMBER 9, 2002 5 <br /> <br />Mariorie Alexander, 3251 Fernwood Street, expressed concern about the <br />association assessment. Mayor Probst asked the Association Board to identify a <br />spokesperson, so the City could have a contact. <br /> <br />Doug Hartford, 1292 Ingerson Road, asked for clarification on the proposed <br />budget. He expressed concern about the association assessment. <br /> <br />Harold Alexander, 3251 Fernwood Street, asked where the driveway for the last <br />home by the association would be located. Mr. Brown stated that home would <br />have access to GlenpauL <br /> <br />Allan Stedman, 1164 Ingerson Road, asked about any redirection of sewer lines if <br />the roads were reconstructed that would amount to extra costs for homeowners. <br />Mr. Brown stated they did not anticipate any changes to either storm or sanitary <br />sewers. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant noted any water quality improvements were not accessible <br />to the residents on this project. <br /> <br />Mr. Stedman requested for the lower curbs, which he believed was appropriate <br />for Ingerson. He stated he had observed changes over the years in the ditch that <br />leads into Josephine. He asked how much study had been done in terms of water <br />flowage and asked if it had flowed into the lake. He stated he understood the <br />DNR needed to be involved with the deepening of the channel and the silt <br />removaL Mr. Brown replied the idea of the upper basin would be to have some <br />depth in the neighborhood of four to five feet. The channel would only be <br />excavated out using the existing banks and hopefully, there would be some <br />existing water, but they would not know that until they excavated. He noted once <br />the City had access to the channel, it would be cleaned on an annual or bi-annual <br />basis to remove the silt. <br /> <br />Mr. Stedman stated he believed the banks had not only caved in, but the channel <br />was also filled with silt. Mr. Brown stated once they cleaned out the channel, they <br />would restore the banks of the channel naturally, which should help prevent <br />further erosion, <br /> <br />Pat McDonagh, 4452 Pleasant Drive, stated they were situated on the comer cul- <br />de-sac and have a storm sewer located immediately behind their home, which was <br />
