He stated he was uncomfortable signing away the <br />possibility of a road through the wildlife corridor. <br /> <br />Grel! Mack, Ramsey County Director of Parks and Recreation, stated he had been <br />communicating with the GSA staff about the transfer of three parcels to Ramsey <br />County. He noted they had attempted to deal with, what he believed were, the <br />transportation interests for all parties involved. <br /> <br />Mr. Rehbein stated the County would have to submit an application to the GSA <br />with sponsorship from a Federal Agency. He noted the Federal screening process <br />was over. He encouraged the Council to bring the GSA to a work session and get <br />their input directly. He stated the developers were not opposed to the wildlife <br />corridor, but encouraged the Council to think this through thoroughly before <br />making any decisions. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Grant moved and Council Member Rem <br />second a motion to table Resolution No. 02-73: Approving the <br />Rice Creek North Regional Trail Master Plan Amendment, to <br />the January 20, 2003 Work Session. The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />B. Authorize Distribution of Letter to GSA <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish presented a letter to the GSA and Army indicating the City's interest <br />in pursuing the acquisition ofTCAAP property via early transfer authority. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Rem moved and Council Member Grant <br />seconded a motion to table the Distribution of Letter to GSA to <br />the January 20,2003 Work Session. The motion carried (4-1). <br />(Mayor Probst). <br /> <br />C. Planning Case No. 02-28: Volkert, Variance for Garden Shed, 1330 <br />Nursery Hill Lane <br /> <br />Mr. I-Iellegers stated the applicant was requesting a variance to allow a garden shed <br />to remain in the Side Yard Comer setback area. The Planning Commission <br />recommended approval, subject to conditions as noted in staffs report dated <br />December 11, 2002. <br />
