<br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />DECEMBER 16, 2002 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Grant moved and Council Member <br />Aplikowski seconded a motion to approve "Planning Case No. <br />02-28: Volkert, Variance for Garden Shed, 1330 Nursery Hill <br />Lane, subject to recommendations as noted in staffs December <br />11,2002 report". The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />D. Planning Case No. 02-32: Kim Tramm, Arden Ridge PUD, Cleveland <br />& CR E-2 <br /> <br />Mr. Hellegers stated the applicant was requesting approval for a Master and Final <br />Planned Unit Development to construct a six unit office condo building at the <br />comer of County Road E-2 and Cleveland Avenue. The Planning Commission <br />recommended approval, subject to conditions as noted in staffs report dated <br />December 12, 2002. Mr. Hellegers noted since the Planning Commission meeting, <br />staff had added the following two conditions: <br /> <br />20. That the cultured stone base shall be continued along the north and <br />south sides of the building. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />21 . That the property shall require final plat approval to the issuance of a <br />building permit. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst encouraged an aggressiye landscape plan. <br /> <br />Kim Tramm. Tramm Builders & Realtors, stated the comer of the site was <br />essentially clear, and some of the trees in the back might not be removed. He <br />noted there was a lot of scrub type material on that lot. He stated they were <br />meeting the Code requirement, but if the Council wanted to see more vegetation, <br />they were open to accommodating additional landscaping. <br /> <br />Council Member Aplikowski requested staff look at the need for having a <br />sidewalk along County Road E-2. She noted she was not comfortable with having <br />a sidewalk that did not connect to anything. Mayor Probst noted a trail was within <br />two blocks of this area. <br /> <br />Council Member Aplikowski requested the word sidewalk be changed to trail. <br /> <br />. <br />
