Stone Murphy will conduct <br />meetings with the Mayor, City Council and other appropriate personnel to understand and define: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The culture of the City of Arden Hills. <br />The position requirements and qualifications. <br />The scope, goals and expectations of the position. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Important information to obtain in these meetings could include: <br /> <br />. Understanding of the structure and nature of the City of Arden Hills government. <br />. Recent history of the municipal offices and the scope of services. <br />. Strengths and weaknesses of the municipal offices and of the predecessor City Administrator. <br />. Various relationships maintained by the City Administrator. <br />. Political implications. <br />. Current issues. <br />. Prioritization of responsibilities. <br />. Prioritization of position requirements. <br /> <br />STEP TWO: POSITION DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />Using the City of Arden Hills' position description and the information obtained in Step One, Stone Murphy <br />will develop a detailed position specification that will include: <br /> <br />.
