<br />- <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Project Schedule <br />The Project Site has undergone a carejill and complicated deconstruction process over <br />the past several months. The tentative Project Schedule calls for construction on the <br />cleared site to begin late summer of this year, with completion anticipatedfor the latefall <br />of2004. <br /> <br />Project Partners <br />As this project has developed over the past three years, Ramsey County has welcomed <br />other public agencies' interest in partnering with the County on the redevelopment of this . <br />portion of the TCMP Site. Planning discussions have yielded an overall site <br />development plan that includes the following agencies: <br />. The City of Arden Hills will occupy approximately ten percent ( 1 0%) of the new <br />building. The City intends to operate their public worksflll1ctions from this location, <br />which is just west of the City Hall Offices on Highway 96; - <br />. The Moundsview Public Schools will OCCliPy approximately seven percent (7%) of the <br />new facility in order to operate their Light Maintenance Divisionfrom this Highway 96 <br />location. This group is responsible for general grounds maintenance at the district's <br />various school sites; <br />. The Ramsey Soil and Conservation District intends to relocate its headquartersfi-om <br />leased space in Roseville, to abow 2,300 square feel in the administrative office area of <br />the new building; <br />. The Ramsey County Libraries are providing jill1ding for three library vehicle spaces in <br />the new garage in order to protect their maintenance fleet, which travels throughout the <br />northern Sliburbs daily to service the system's multiple library locations. <br /> <br />In addition to Ramsey County's new facility, a second building project is plannedfor an <br />adjacent site on the TCMP property. The lvli71nesota Army National Guard (AINANG) <br />intends to operate this 117,000 square joot maimenance filcility to provide routine and <br />special maintenance services on various military vehicles. The co-locatioll of the County <br />alld lIlilitary/ilcilities allows.for both orgalli;atiolls to lIse the COlllztv'sfiieling station. <br /> <br />Site Access alld On-site Parking <br />Hamline Avenue will provide general access to the project sites off of Highway 96. Both <br />sites have been desiglled to separate operational traffic (trucks, road equipment, large <br />military vehicles, etc.) from personal vehicle and visitor traffic. Operational traffic will <br />enter the County Public Works site and the MNANG site from Hamline Avenue and Ben <br />Franklin Road on the north. Site access and parking jor the staff"s personal vehicles and <br />for public visitors will be via an access road approximately 50 feet north o{Highway 96. <br />Parking for 285 personal vehicles has been identified in the site plan. In addition, the site <br />design provides indoor or covered parkingfor all vehicles and equipment used by the <br />County, the City. the School District, and the Library as per the City's zoning <br />requirements. <br />
