<br />4.9 Prehistoric and Historic Sites <br /> <br />e 4.9.2 No Action <br /> <br />The no action alternative would maintain the status quo and no historic properties and or <br />archaeological sites would be impacted. Resources at TCMP would continue to be <br />managed in accordance with the TCAAP Cultural Resource Management Plan. <br /> <br />4.9.2 Proposed Action <br /> <br />The State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) was notified of the proposed action. The <br />SHPO responded by letter on December 20, 2000, and stated (Attachment K); an <br />archaeological survey was not required. Furthermore, the SHPO stated that it does not <br />appear that any property listed on or eligible for listing on the National Register of <br />Historic Places that will be affected by the proposed action. <br /> <br />4.10 Utilities <br /> <br />4.10.1 No Action <br /> <br />The no action would maintain the status quo. TCMP utility systems would not be <br />affected <br /> <br />4.10.2 Proposed Action <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />4.10.2.1 Sanitary Sewer <br /> <br />Ramsey County has been in contact with the Metropolitan Council Environmental <br />Services system for sanitary waste The County will comply with the Council's <br />infrastructure requirements, Therefore there will be no significant impacts resulting from <br />the implementation of the proposed action. <br /> <br />4.10.2.2 Water <br /> <br />The new maintenance facility will get its water service from the St. Paul Water Utility <br />through the City of Arden Hills. The new maintenance facility would tap into an existing <br />water main that runs parallel to Highway 96. No significant impacts would result from this <br />action. <br /> <br />4.10.2.3 Storm Drainage <br /> <br />Treatment of stormwater runoff from the maintenance facility site will be provided in a <br />stormwater pond located in the southeast corner of the project that is to be constructed <br />in 2003-4 as part of the Highway 96 reconstruction project. The pond is to be designed <br />meeting National Urban Runoff Program and NPDES standards. <br /> <br />Implementation of this action must comply with the requirements of the Rice Creek <br />Watershed District, which Is charged with protecting water resources and minimizing <br />environmental Impacts. Therefore, impacts resulting from this action will be mitigated <br />through the District's permitting process. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />14 <br />
