<br />Page 2 of2 <br /> <br />NEW BRIGHTON UPDATE <br /> <br />I continue to review the New Brighton proposal and work with the New Brighton staff to further <br />clarify the proposal and to answer various questions about the proposal. I am meeting with a <br />representative from the Sheriff's Department on January 14 to review many questions I have <br />about their services, in order to try and prepare some kind of comparison between the <br />departments. <br /> <br />DIRECTION <br /> <br />After the presentation by Ramsey County Sheriff, we will need to determine the next steps in the <br />decision-making process. One option is as follows: <br /> <br />· Schedule further diseussion for either a special work session or the February 16 work <br />session. Prior to the scheduled meeting you would receive a report from me attempting <br />to clarify and answer questions and summarizing services and eosts.
