If approval is <br />received, the ERC will obtain a gift certificate in the amount of $100 from a <br />vendor of the employee's choice. The employee's Department Director shall <br />present the award to the employee, <br /> <br />Retirement <br /> <br />· Upon notification of retirement, an employee shall receive a gift certificate equal <br />to $10 for each year of service. The retiring employee shall be presented with a <br />Mayoral Proclamation, a plaque recognizing their years of service, and the gift <br />certificate at the Council meeting closest to their retirement date. <br /> <br />Employee Newsletter <br /> <br />· A bi-monthly employee written and published newsletter shall be distributed to all <br />employees, The newsletter may include such items as employee birthdays, <br />anniversaries, department high-lights, employee spotlights, etc. The newsletter <br />shall be reviewed and approved by the City Administrator prior to distribution to <br />employees, <br /> <br />Employee Recognition Committee <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />· The Employee Recognition Committee shall be comprised of six (6) employees. <br />Membership shall be rotated annually. <br />· The ERC shall develop an estimated annual budget, which shall be presented to <br />the City Council within its annual budget. <br />· The ERC shall meet quarterly, or as necessary, <br /> <br />. <br />
