<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br />~ <br />~~ILLS <br /> <br />Draft; April 19, 2005 <br /> <br />EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION POLICY <br /> <br />The City Council of Arden Hills encourages and supports recognizing employees who <br />make significant contributions to the City. At its September 1994 meeting, the City <br />Council adopted Rcsolution No. 94-47, establishing an Employee Recognition <br />Committee (ERe). <br /> <br />The City of Arden Hills hereby establishes a policy to recognize all employees in the <br />following manner: <br /> <br />Annual Employee Event <br />. In appreciation of City staff members, the City will host an annual employee <br />luncheon in January to recognize employee contributions, retirements, years of <br />service, and exceptional job performances over the past year. <br /> <br />Years of Service <br />. Employees shall receive a plaque and certificate from the City for years of <br />service. Employees will be recognized for every five (5) years of employment <br />with the City. Employees will also receive a letter from the City Administrator <br />and their Department Head or Supervisor acknowledging their years of service. A <br />copy of this letter shall be inserted into the City Council non-agenda packet and <br />the employee's personnel file. <br /> <br />Exceptional Performance <br />. Communication received from residents or other individuals recognlzmg an <br />employee for their superior performance or service shall be copied to the City <br />Council in the non-agenda packet, employee newsletter, and the employee's <br />personnel file. <br />
