<br />. <br /> <br />There are no restrictions on who can be nominated and the same employee may <br />be nominated more than once if different rationale is used. <br /> <br />Nominations shall remain confidential, and shall be reviewed by the selection <br />committee. The selection committee shall initially be comprised of members of <br />the Employee Recognition Committee. The committee shall use the supporting <br />rationale, submitted with the nomination in the selection process. Information <br />submitted with the nomination will be subject to verification. Final selection of <br />an Employee of the Year will initially be made by the Employee Recognition <br />Committee. Past recipients of the award shall be included on the selection <br />committee, and shall eventually comprise the selection committee. The <br />committee reserves the right to not designate an Employee of the Year if they <br />deem the nominations and supporting rationale received warrants no such <br />selection. <br /> <br />The name of the person selected as the Employee of the Year will be annOlUJced <br />by the Mayor at the last City Council meeting of the year. An article will appear <br />in the employee and city newsletter (along with a photograph) recognizing the <br />employee and his/her accomplishments. The employee will also receive a plaque <br />recognizing the accomplishment. A plaque, identifying those selected as <br />Employee of the Year, will be permanently displayed at City Hall. <br /> <br />. Employee of the Year Committee <br /> <br />. The Employee of the Year Committee will meet regularly in October of each year <br />to review the nominees and recommend a candidate for this award. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2 <br />
