MN 55112 <br /> <br />RE: Work Order 05-03 <br />2006 Lift Station Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Dear Ms, Wolfe, <br /> <br />The following proposal is offered as a confirmation of our scope of work. estimated fees and schedule for the <br />above-referenced project. <br /> <br />~ENERALPROJECTSCOPE <br />.e proposed scope of work includes services for preliminary engineering, preparation of final plans and <br />construction services for the proposed rehabilitation of Lift Stations #1, #11, #12 and #13 located throughout the <br />City. These four lift stations are the last remaining stations with dry well operating systems to be replaced with <br />submersible pump systems, <br /> <br />BASIC SERVICES <br /> <br />Design Pbase <br />URS will provide preliminary engineering services for the proposed project including the evaluation of alternatives <br />which may be appropriate, URS will conduct field reviews of the project site as necessary and prepare presentation <br />graphics and exhibits for public infonnation and council review, URS will make modifications to the proposed <br />improvement scope as directed by City staff and Council, The preparation of a feasibility report is not included in <br />the scope of professional services, URS will prepare final plans and specifications for the project in accordance <br />with the Professional Services Agreement. City staff will provide as-buill information as needed for the project. <br />Final plans and specifications will be prepared to City standards and will include removal plans, utility <br />reconstruction plans, grading plans, details, and site restoration plans as necessary, Final plans and specifications <br />will be submitted to City staff for review and comment. <br /> <br />Bidding Phase <br />URS will provide bidding phase services in accordance with the Professional Services Agreement. URS will <br />submit advertisements for bidding, produce bidding documents, answer contractor questions, issue addendums and <br />conduct the bid opening, URS will check bids and provide a detailed bid tabulation and recommendation of award <br />to City Council. <br /> <br />'. <br />
