She states that the <br />vehicles are advertised for sale. <br /> <br />July 17'h, 2003 <br />City staff meets with owner and son to discuss removal of vehicles and RV. Staff also discusses <br />the condition of the storage building, questioning its structural integrity, noticing the severe <br />decay and opcn holes for varmints to gain access to structure. <br /> <br />July 30th, 2003 <br />Owner responds in writing to the meeting on the 17th She writes they have a buyer for one ofthe <br />vehicles. Her son wants to keep the datsun pickup, and will bring it into compliance. She also <br />writes, the motor home will take time to get repaired and sold but they will take care of it. <br /> <br />Septcmber 4th, 2003 <br />Owner responds to staff phone calls in writing. Shc writes her son has covered the openings in <br />the building, and that they have the license for the pickup. They also have a buyer for the Nova <br />and they are still looking for a mechanic to repair the R V so it can be sold. She asks for more <br />time. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />September 23'd, 2003 <br />City staff notifies the resident that none of the violations discussed at the July 17th meeting have <br />been abated. Staff outlines the violations to be abated. They are as follows; <br />At 3150 HamIine Ave. <br />Two unlicensed/inoperable vehicles, Two vehicles parked in prohibited areas, Structure in <br />disrepair/unsafe and unable to gain access to assess, Material and equipment visible from <br />adjoining lots, Condition that providcs a harborage for rats, mice, snakes, and other vermin <br />At 1415 Glenhill Road. <br />RV (motor home) parked in the front yard <br />RV unlicensed/inoperablc <br />Accumulation of stagnant water <br />Staff requests that the above violations be abated within 30 days. <br /> <br />Octobcr 27th, 2003 <br />City staff writes the owner thanking her for removing one of the vehicles and licensing another <br />one, but that the one now licensed is still stored in a prohibited area and appears inoperable. In <br />addition, she is notified that nonc of the other violations have been abated. <br />Staff notifies her that she has until the IS! of December to remove the violations or the City will <br />have no choice but to issue citations. <br /> <br />December 1st, 2003 <br />Owner responds in writing that one of the vehicles has been removed and the other one is <br />licensed. She also writes that they have material to patch the holes in the roof They also will be <br /> <br />. <br />
