Selvog, 3628 North Snelling Avenue, was referred <br />to Engineer Lund for study. Mrs. Stromquist was asked to contact <br />the Johnstons to see if they are also interested In the proposed <br />water line extension. <br /> <br />Water Improvement 68-2, 68-3 Comple~ <br />Engineer Lund reported that Northern 'Contractln9 Co. has a repair <br />crew at work cleaning up unfinished work. He further reported <br />that Northdale has not been workIng, but that they plan to meet <br />with Bob Glasco of the BanIster office and Supervisor Beecher and <br />then complete the work on the project. <br /> <br />~ REPORT OF COUNCILMAN HOLLENHORST - Plannl~g & Zoning <br /> <br />Case No. 71-5, Pllorlm House - Speclai Use Permit <br />Motion was made by J. Hollenhorst, seconded by E. G. Henderson, <br />that approval be given for a Special Use Permit for a one year <br />periOd to PII~rim House, in accordance with plans submItted with <br />Case No. 71-5, and as recommended by the Planninq CommIssion, and <br />subject to the approval of the Arden Hills Police Department and <br />the Lake Johanna Vo I unteer Fire Depa rtment; mot ion carr I edunan- <br />.Imously. <br /> <br />fase No. 71-23, McNamee Variance Request <br />Upon motion by J. Hollenhorst, ~econded by R. Herrick. a variance <br />was granted to Mf. James McNamee for an accessory bulldln~, as <br />per application with Case No. 71-23, and In accordance with recom- <br />mendations of_the Board of Appeals and the PI~nnlng CommissIon; <br />motIon carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Case No. 71-18, Professional PI~nnlng Service <br />Motion was made by J. Hollenhorst, seconded by E. G. Henderson, <br />that Midwest Planning & Research, Inc. be retained as VIllage <br />Plannlnq Consul'tant for the remainder of the calendar year 1971, <br />I n accordance wJ th the I r p.roposa I to the Cound I, dated May 7, <br />1971; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN E. GRAY HENDERSON - FInance and Municipal Lands <br />and Buildings <br /> <br />'.'.. <br /> <br />Elvlew Construction Claim <br />Motion was made by E. G.Henderson, seconded by.J. Hollenhorst, <br />that the Elvlew Construction Co.'s request for Payment No.3, <br />In the amount of $12,792.61, be approved; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. - Bate Increase <br />E. G. Henderson reported that he attended the first session of a <br />hearing before the Municipal Commission concerning Northwestern <br />Bell Telephone Co.'s request for a rate Increase. The hearing <br />Is beIng continued for several weeks; It will then be studied and <br />more meetings will be held In August. E. G. Henderson will attempt <br />to attend future meetlnps on the matter when necessary. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN OlMEN - Public Works <br /> <br />Public Works Protects <br />S.
