/ <br />♦ <br />� ' <br />Minutes of the Regu{ar Council Me�ting <br />July 28, 1969 <br />Pago Two <br />The proposed i�dustrial road wouid be constructed from the service <br />road of STH 51 and wouid end in a cul-de-sac at the east proper�y line <br />of the Theodore Hamm Brewing Company property. This road could later <br />be connected to the present 6ray Fox Road, The estlmate� cost of <br />E119,100 includes all ufiilities. The Councii requested Clerk Admin- <br />istrator to request written statements from the Theodore Hamm Brawing <br />Company and Tri-State Land Company stating �hat they wili accept 100$ <br />assassment. <br />� Counciiman Hotienhorst moved the accepfiance of the Feasibility Report <br />and directed Banister Engineering Company to proceed wi�h the necessary <br />steps for a hearing with Ramsey County regardang County Ditch No: !2; <br />seconded by Councilman Crepeau; motion carried unanimously. <br />Seal Coat€nq eids <br />Engineer Lund distributed the tabulation of bids for seat coatfng vil- <br />lage roads in the Plater improvement 68-I area. <br />Councflman Oimen moved, seconded by Councilman Hollenhorst, that the <br />pians and specifications tor the seat coafiing of the v(ilage roads in <br />Ylater tmprovement 68-I area be accepted; moi-ion carried unanimousiy, <br />Engineer Lund recommended that the bid be awarded 'io the lowest of the <br />6 bidders. Counci{man Oimen moved, seconded by Councilman Crepeau, <br />tha� the bid be awarded to Allied Bfacktop Company, 3601 48th Avenue <br />North, Minneapolis, Minnesota for 54,243.75; mofiion carried unanimously. <br />Lift Station No. S Bids, l�garson Road <br />Engineer Lund distribufied the fabuiation of the 3 bids received for <br />revisions to Iitt station No. 8. Eng(n�er Lund explained that the <br />low bid from Ctement Schmi�z was disquafified as it was not sfgned, <br />There was a ditterence o# $99.00 between the two lowest bids. <br />Councfiman Holienhorst moved, seconded by Councilman Olmen, fihe ac- <br />captance of the second Oowest bid to Barso Construcfifon Company� Route <br />3, P.O. Sox 3&5, Osseo, M{nnesota for $4,539.00 for the revisions to <br />tift station No. 8; motlon carried unanimousEy. <br />Sewer improvements 12 and 13, Pro�ress Report <br />Engineer lund informed �he Counci! that the pfans and specifications <br />for this improvement are 75� compiefie and the construcfiion of fhe liffi <br />station at Round Lake wii! take abouT 6 months to compfete; therefore, <br />it is not possible to have the sys#em operating this year, but th� <br />sewer lines coutd be constructed now, <br />Lexinqton Avenue Im�rovemant Matter <br />C(erk Admfnlstrator lorraine Stromqulst informed the Counci! that fihe <br />Vtllage of Shoreviow has requested a moating with Arden Hilis and <br />possibly Rosevilie for the discussion of the widening of Lexington <br />Avenue to possibly 4 lanes. <br />� The Councii suggested that Cterk AdminEstrator �orraine Stromquis#, <br />Enginoer Lund and a represen7ative from the Cuuncii rep�esent Arden <br />Hiils at this meeting. Mayor BJorndahi requested Clerk Adminis?rator <br />to ask Shoreview -'ro schedule the meeting and suggested that represent- <br />atives frqm the Ramsey County and PMinnesota State Highway Departments <br />be present. <br />Temporary Wafier Suppiy Roquasi•, Shorewood Hifis <br />Enginesr Lund i�formed the Council that Sfi is �ot feasible to suppty <br />temporary water facilities io certain areas as requested a Shorewood <br />Nills residen�. <br />� <br />- 2 - <br />
