I I, 1971 <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN JOHN HOLLENHORST - Planning & Zoning <br />CATV Meetinq <br /> <br />Mr. Hollenhorst reported on a meetIng he attended relating to CATV. <br />It was sponsored by the Metro Section, L.M.M., with the aim to <br />impress upon muniCipal ities the importance of acting as a single group <br />when granting 'franchises 'for cable television. The group considered <br />establishing a committee to study the matter. Clerk Administrator was <br />asked to write to the Metro Section adviSing them that Arden Hills <br />approves their forming a committee to study the matter In depth. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Deputy Building Inspector <br /> <br />Upon the recommendation of Code Enfol"cement Off icer Squl res, motion <br />was made by Hol lenhorst, seconded by Olmen, that Mr. Ernest Kluegel <br />be appointed as Deputy 8uilding Inspector for the Village of Arden <br />Hills and that he be authorl2ed ~o make building Inspections when <br />Mr. Squires Is out of town, and further, that his rate of eompensatlon <br />be $7.50 per hour while ~orking; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Case No. 71-34, Liftle Crow Addition <br /> <br />The Councl !requested the Planning CommissIon to conduct ~he public <br />hearing for the proposed plat, Little Crow Addl~lon, and set the <br />date of hearing as November 4, 1971. <br /> <br />Case No. 71-38, Variance Request - M. Courtney, reQu~stjng that <br />he prepars a final ordinance draft in accordance with the Planning <br />Commission recommendations. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Case No. 71-9, PrelimInary 5eedlng, Sod~ing, Planting Plan, <br />Bethel Academic 8uildinqs <br /> <br />Recommendations of the Planning Commission, dated October 5, 1971, were <br />reported by Counc'iiman Hollenhorst. After further discussion, motion <br />was made by Hollenhorst, seconded by Olmen, that the Building Inspector <br />be ins'~rtJcted to issue the bui ldlng permit for the bull.dlngs and. , <br />collect the permit fee, but that the Clerk Adminlstrato~.wrlte to <br />Hage Construction Co. and Inform them that a satisfactory planting plan <br />plus a performance bond sufficient to guarantee completion of the land- <br />scaping wit I be required by the Village before a Certificate of <br />Occupancy Is issued for the buildings.
