r' /' Regular Counci t Meeting -3- Oct. I I, 1971 REPORT OF COUNCILMAN JOHN HOLLENHORST - Planning & Zoning CATV Meetinq Mr. Hollenhorst reported on a meetIng he attended relating to CATV. It was sponsored by the Metro Section, L.M.M., with the aim to impress upon muniCipal ities the importance of acting as a single group when granting 'franchises 'for cable television. The group considered establishing a committee to study the matter. Clerk Administrator was asked to write to the Metro Section adviSing them that Arden Hills approves their forming a committee to study the matter In depth. . Deputy Building Inspector Upon the recommendation of Code Enfol"cement Off icer Squl res, motion was made by Hol lenhorst, seconded by Olmen, that Mr. Ernest Kluegel be appointed as Deputy 8uilding Inspector for the Village of Arden Hills and that he be authorl2ed ~o make building Inspections when Mr. Squires Is out of town, and further, that his rate of eompensatlon be $7.50 per hour while ~orking; motion carried unanimously. Case No. 71-34, Liftle Crow Addition The Councl !requested the Planning CommissIon to conduct ~he public hearing for the proposed plat, Little Crow Addl~lon, and set the date of hearing as November 4, 1971. Case No. 71-38, Variance Request - M. Aldrldqe. Motion was made by Hollenhorst, seconded by Herrick, that the Council concur with the recommendations of the Planning Commission and. approve the variance request as .s'ubmitted with Case No. 71-38; motion Carried unanimously.
