Tom Horty, Horty Eivlng and Associates, repo~ted detaIls relating to final completion on the buIlding project and discussed final payments requested by EIVlew Construction Co. He explained that the contract with EIVlew provides a one-year guarantee from the date the Certificate of Substantial. Completion was signed (Aug. 12, 1971l.Mr. Horty explained that the items listed below are not yet completed, but EIVle~ Construction Co. is willing to submit a 1~tter guaranteeing completion, if the Village will consent to final contra.ct payment. !!Eflnlshed Items I. Install loult€lfii over air duct to outside east wal I of Vi Ilage Hal L After discussion, motion was made by Henderson, seconded by Olmen, that the Council approve final payment less $500.00 to EIVlew Construc- tion Co.; the $500.00 to be paid upon completion of the Items listed above. Motion carried unanimously. I~otlon was made by Hender.son, seconded by Hollenhorst, that the final payment for archltects'fees to Horty Elvlng and Associates be approved for payment in the amount of $542.a8; motion carried unanimously. . Assessments Rate Resolution, Resolution No. 71-47 After discussion, motion was made by Henderson, seconded by Hefrlck, that Resolution No. 71-47 regarding Village polley on assessment rates for sewer and water Improvements be approved, as amended; motion carried unanimOUSly. A section of the recommendations of the Finance Subcommlttee,whlch stated that future land developments be required to have utilities ~lithln such developments pre-planned, approved by the Vi llage Councll, and installed at the COST of the developer was referred to the Ordinance Review Committee.
