Tom Horty, Horty Eivlng and Associates, repo~ted detaIls <br />relating to final completion on the buIlding project and discussed <br />final payments requested by EIVlew Construction Co. He explained <br />that the contract with EIVlew provides a one-year guarantee from the <br />date the Certificate of Substantial. Completion was signed (Aug. 12, <br />1971l.Mr. Horty explained that the items listed below are not yet <br />completed, but EIVle~ Construction Co. is willing to submit a 1~tter <br />guaranteeing completion, if the Village will consent to final contra.ct <br />payment. <br /> <br />!!Eflnlshed Items <br /> <br />I. Install loult€lfii over air duct to outside east wal I of <br />Vi Ilage Hal L <br /> <br />After discussion, motion was made by Henderson, seconded by Olmen, <br />that the Council approve final payment less $500.00 to EIVlew Construc- <br />tion Co.; the $500.00 to be paid upon completion of the Items listed <br />above. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />I~otlon was made by Hender.son, seconded by Hollenhorst, that the final <br />payment for archltects'fees to Horty Elvlng and Associates be approved <br />for payment in the amount of $542.a8; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />. <br />Mayor Crepeau and members of the Counci I commended Mr. Harty for a <br />job well done. <br /> <br />Assessments Rate Resolution, Resolution No. 71-47 <br /> <br />After discussion, motion was made by Henderson, seconded by Hefrlck, <br />that Resolution No. 71-47 regarding Village polley on assessment rates <br />for sewer and water Improvements be approved, as amended; motion <br />carried unanimOUSly. <br /> <br />A section of the recommendations of the Finance Subcommlttee,whlch <br />stated that future land developments be required to have utilities <br />~lithln such developments pre-planned, approved by the Vi llage Councll, <br />and installed at the COST of the developer was referred to the <br />Ordinance Review Committee. <br /> <br />Budqet and Tax Levy. 1972 - ~ "'ho.
