Rubbish <br />and garbage is to be hauled out of the Village by licensed haulers, <br />A list of Village-licensed haulers should be provided to residents <br />who Inquire about such rubbish service. - <br /> <br />Water Improvement 71.1 - ReQuest of William FeVerelsen <br />The following documents were reviewed by the Village Council, Attorney <br />Courtney and Mr. and Mrs. WI II iam Feyerelsen re the ~eyerelsen re. <br />quest for an extension of the water line In Improvement 71.tl <br />I. Request to Council by the Feyereisens on August 9, 1971 <br />2. Engineer's feasibility report on the matter, dated Aug. <br />list 20,1971- <br />3. Mr. Feyer6Jsents letter to the Village, dated August 21, <br />1971, again asking that the extension be made and agreeing <br />to pay the added costs Involved. <br /> <br />Mr. Feyerelsen Informed the Council and Attorney Courtney that he <br />fully understood that the estimated construe~lon contract will be <br />approximately $10,700; that there will be additional costs for legal. <br />fiscal, engineering and administrative work~ that he realizes we <br />are working with estimated figures only at this time, and that he Is <br />willing to pay the total extra cost for the water line exten'lon as <br />an assessment against the property, when final costs have been estab- <br />lished. <br /> <br />Attorney Courtney was Instructe~ to obtain a signed property easement <br />from Mr. and Mrs. Feyerelsen before the water line extension Is con- <br />structed. <br /> <br />,REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> <br />Bids - Charles Perry Park Recreation Facilities <br />Engineer Lund stibmltted a tabulation of bIds taken at II ;00 a.m. <br />today. J. Belair Construction Company, Inc. submitted the 10'01 bid, In <br />the amount of $77,087.45. Mr. Belair asked for clarification of <br />amount of rough grading and_ contractor time schedule on such rough <br />grading still to be done by Schutz ContractIng before the current <br />project can be started. Councilman Herrick was aSked to see that <br />Mr. Schutz has the required rough grading completed by September 13. <br />Council to take action on bids at the September 13, 1971, meeting. <br /> <br />Metro Sewer Board In9u1rx <br />The Council authorized Engineer Lund to furnish the Informatlofl re- <br />quested to the Metro S>2I'"er_ Board I n the I r I etter dated ,August 2. 1971. <br /> <br />En Ineer's Re ort rEI Mobile Home Park Pro sal <br />A report by Engineer Lund, ated August 30, 971, was reviewed. Clerk <br />Administrator to send a copy of the report to Mr. and .Mrs. James <br />Adams. <br /> <br />Reques~ of Edward Thill for Extension of Water Line - Improvement <br />No. 71-1 <br />Mr. Thill was present and reviewed his letter request, dated August 28, <br />1971, for an extension of the water main In Improvement 71.1 by 200 ft. <br /> <br />The Counel I and Mr. Thl II discussed proposed costs for such a line, <br />and the estimated assessment costs fo f I-nanee the extension. <br /> <br />After considerable discussion, at two separate times during the <br />Council meeting, it was agreed byall concerned that the water line, <br />extension would not be made at this time, that Mr. ThIll would conne~t <br />his existing house to the presently planned water line, and that <br />his assessment for such water line 8Puo~", Il...,kly be ba~ed on 85' <br />, ~~)..,.' <br />-1- <br />
