Henderson that the Council adopt AN ORDINANCE <br />REPEALING ORD. NO. 114 AND ORD. NO. 116 AND AMENDING ORD. 49, ALL <br />RELATING TO THE MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM, BY CHANGING THE <br />RATES AND CHARGES PRESCRIBED FOR SEWAGE DISP0SAL AND PROVIDING FOR <br />PENALTIES AND COLLECTION PROCEDURES, as read; seconde~ by S. Olmen. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Water Rate Ordinance - F,lnal Draft <br />Attorney Courtney read the water rate ordinance In Its entirety. <br /> <br />After discusSion, it was moved by E. G. Henderson that AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING ORD. NO. 103 RELATING TO THE MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM, BY <br />AMENDING THE WATER RATES AND THE CHARGES, AND PROVIDING FOR FURTHER <br />REV I S I ON OF SUCH RATES AND CHARGES BY RESOLUT ION, be adopted as read ,': ',; <br />and amended, striking Section I, Paragraph d, and striking Section 2; <br />seconded by S. Water 68-2 and 68-3 <br />The Amendment to Grant Agreement, Water 68-2 and 68-3, forwarded by <br />,HUD, was read by Attorney Courtney. <br /> <br />R. Herrick moved approval of the amended HUn agreement as read, <br />authorizing execution. thereof by the Village; seconded by J. Hollen- <br />horst. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Northwestern ColleQe Sewer Easement Modification <br />A letter from Attorney Courtney, dated March I, 1971, was reviewed <br />by Attorney Courtney, recommending modification of the Northwestern <br />Col lege Sewer Easement, which he explained has been executed by <br />Northwestern College. <br /> <br />J. Hollenhorst moved approval of the easement modification, as recom- <br />mended, authorizing execution by the Village: seconded by E. G. <br />Henderson. Olmen and seconded by E. G. Henderson, that the <br />Construction Contract be approved, subject to Attorney Courtney check- <br />Ing the Insurance Certificate with the insurance agent to determine <br />that the Insurance Certificate conforms to the Specifications.
