Jopes moved that the matter of change orders be <br />discussed with Attorney Courtney regArding proper handling, and tnat <br />the Village incorporata tnis change order if the cost does not exceed <br />�p550.00 to �p600.00. The owner to pay a reasonable portion of the cost, <br />Seconded by Crepeau. .Carried. <br />Public �ti'orks Report <br />ivir. Jones reported tnat the roads iq Arden =�ills #3 wera being graded <br />to coincide with the individual pr•operties at�l nearly as possible, and <br />tze road improvemont, in general, was progressing very satisiactorily. <br />He reported that the drainfield seepage problem in tne Shorcvood Hills <br />area has been increasingl;� troublesome. <br />�iNelfare Report <br />�r��, Kennedy reported that tne baseball area in Tony Schmi�t park has <br />now been graded. He requested that the C,lerk write a letter of apnre- <br />ciation to iv?r. Ed Salverda. <br />Vfr. Kenr,edy stated that his lot vJidth rezoning report would be ready at <br />the next council meeting. <br />Police Report <br />i;9r, Crepeau stated that no bids were received for the new Arden Hills <br />squad car. Council advised the clerk to readvertise this week. <br />iVIr. Crepeau relayed a request from ivs. V"ictor :�ieber tnat tne Council <br />approve tne purchase of a new radio for tne squad car at a cost of <br />�p566.00. Half of this cost �vill be absorbed by Civil Defensa. The <br />Council approved the purchase with the stipulation �h#t the oId Tadio <br />be traded in for tha nighest possible value credit to the Village. <br />i��ir. Crepeatz announced that, as of June 10, 1960� the dayt�me policing <br />• of the Village had ceased. iJiore money wouldbe needed in the Police <br />3�:dget if dayti�e policing was to be resumed.
